Born in Curitiba, Brazil, mother of two children. Dr. Helen graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), one of the most highly regarded universities in Brazil. She completed her medical residency in Pediatrics at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and her medical residency in Neonatology at the State University of Londrina (UEL). She has a postgraduate degree in Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine from Faculdade Redentor - Instituto Terzius (Campinas, SP), Pediatric Emergencies from Hospital Albert Einstein (São Paulo, SP), and Pediatric Nutrition from Boston University School of Medicine. She currently sees patients in her private practice and is a member of the clinical staff at Hospital Santa Cruz - Rede D'or and Hospital Evangélico - Mackenzie, both in Curitiba.
